Der Frontbildschirm ist etwas größer geworden und nutzt OLED-Technologie, die selbst bei direkter Mittagssonne gut ablesbar ist – in meinen Tests erreichte sie eine Spitzenhelligkeit von 1200 Nits.
Das ist aber nicht nur eine optische Verbesserung. Auch die Wärmeableitung wurde überarbeitet. Anstatt wie die Action 4 oder 5 Pro extrem heiß zu werden, reguliert die 6 Pro die Wärmeentwicklung intern, sodass das Gehäuse zwar warm, aber dennoch sicher zu handhaben ist.
Energieanalyse: Der Traum eines Batterie-Nerds
Hier zeigt sich die Stärke der Technik. DJI gibt an, im Extreme Battery Plus 2026 eine verbesserte Siliziumanoden-Akkutechnologie zu verwenden. Meine kontrollierten Entladetests bestätigten diese Angaben.
Bei 4K/60fps erreichte ich konstant 190 Minuten Laufzeit, bevor sich das Gerät abschaltete. Zum Vergleich: Die Akkus des DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro Standard Bundle (die für ihre Zeit hervorragend waren) hielten unter ähnlicher Belastung in der Regel nur etwa 150 Minuten durch.
Für den Umweltschutzgedanken („Leave No Trace“) ist die Ladeeffizienz jedoch noch wichtiger. Die Kamera unterstützt PD 3.1 Schnellladen mit 35 W. Mit einem tragbaren Solargenerator konnte ich den Akku in etwa 16 Minuten von 20 % auf 80 % aufladen. Bei mehrtägigen Expeditionen, wo jede Wattstunde zählt, reduziert diese Effizienz die Anzahl der benötigten Ersatzakkus, erleichtert den Rucksack und verringert den ökologischen Fußabdruck.
Leistung bei schwachem Licht: Die 'SuperNight'-Evolution
Action-Kameras hatten in der Vergangenheit bei Dunkelheit aufgrund winziger Sensoren und fester Blendenöffnungen Probleme. Die Action 6 Pro begegnet diesem Problem mit einer scheinbar nativen Dual-ISO-Implementierung, die DJI in der Werbung als „KI-gestützte Verbesserung bei schwachem Licht“ bezeichnet.
Bei einer Patrouille in der Dämmerung zur Beobachtung nachtaktiver Tiere wechselte ich in den speziellen Low-Light-Performance-Modus. Das Bildrauschen ist bemerkenswert gering. Frühere Generationen erzeugten oft „matschige“ Schatten, da der Algorithmus das Filmkorn stark glättete. Die 6 Pro erhält die Textur in den Schatten und verhindert gleichzeitig, dass Lichter (wie z. B. Scheinwerferlicht) überstrahlen.
Ist die Qualität mit einer Kinokamera vergleichbar? Nein. Aber für eine Action-Kamera liefert sie brauchbares Material bei ISO 3200, was in diesem Segment vor nur zwei Jahren noch undenkbar war.
Der „Vlog-Kamera“-Schwerpunkt
In der Community kursieren Gerüchte, dass die Vlog-Funktionen der Osmo Action Kamera Vorrang vor robuster Funktionalität haben. Ich kann diese Bedenken nachvollziehen. Die 6 Pro bietet eine aggressive Gesichtserkennung und einen „Produktpräsentationsmodus“, der eindeutig von der Pocket-Gimbal-Reihe übernommen wurde.
Diese Funktionen sind zwar technisch beeindruckend, beeinträchtigen aber mitunter reine Actionaufnahmen. Zweimal suchte der Autofokus während einer Landschaftsaufnahme nach einem Gesicht, was zu einem kurzen Ruckler im Video führte.
Die Audioisolierung hingegen ist hervorragend. Der Windunterdrückungsalgorithmus filtert nun Windböen bis zu 40 km/h heraus, ohne dass die Stimme roboterhaft klingt. Für Alleinreisende, die ihre Reise dokumentieren, entfällt dadurch die Notwendigkeit eines externen Mikrofonsystems, was das Setup deutlich vereinfacht.

Der entscheidende Faktor: Fokusdistanz
Jedes Produkt hat einen entscheidenden Nachteil, und bei der Action 6 Pro ist es die minimale Fokusdistanz. Das Objektiv hat einen Fixfokus und ist für Unendlich optimiert (Landschaften und Actionaufnahmen ab einem Meter Entfernung).
Versucht man, ein Objekt nahe an das Objektiv zu bringen – beispielsweise eine Pflanze oder ein Ausrüstungsteil innerhalb von 30 cm zu betrachten –, wird das Bild unscharf. Die GoPro Hero 15 bietet ein variables Makroobjektiv, das dieses Problem behebt, DJI hingegen verwendet einen Dioptrienaufsatz, der manuell angeschraubt werden muss.
Für Vlogger, die die Kamera mit ausgestrecktem Arm halten, ist das kein Problem. Für technische Tester oder Makro-Enthusiasten ist diese Einschränkung jedoch frustrierend. Ohne zusätzliches Objektiv sind scharfe Nahaufnahmen nicht möglich.
Die DJI Osmo Action 6 Pro ist zwar nicht die spektakulärste Kamera des Jahres 2026 – sie filmt nicht in 8K und bietet nicht die modularen Objektivoptionen ihrer Konkurrenten –, aber sie ist derzeit das zuverlässigste Werkzeug für Dokumentationen abseits der Zivilisation.
Für energiebewusste Abenteurer, die Wert auf Akkulaufzeit, Kältebeständigkeit und Datenintegrität legen und nicht auf hohe Pixelzahlen, ist sie die richtige Wahl. Sie schont Ihre Zeit und Ihren Stromverbrauch. Auch wenn die Probleme mit dem Nahfokus etwas ärgerlich sind, macht die absolute Zuverlässigkeit des Akkusystems sie zu einem unverzichtbaren Bestandteil meiner Expeditionsausrüstung.
